Mr. Sorensen went to law school at night while he owned and operated a successful real estate brokerage. It was only natural, therefore, that when he began his practice in 1983, most of his work centered around real estate. However, the law is often not merely directed into one area. For instance, Mr. Sorensen's first major case, in 1983 was representing a real estate franchisee against a national franchisor, mixing real estate and business litigation.
